Mikkel joined Nordisk Film in 2011 as Commercial Director, launching Nordisk Games in 2016 as a means to expand into the games industry. Mikkel has a long track record in management, business development and strategy, forming his very first game company after graduating from university. Mikkel previously held director-level roles at several international internet companies and currently sits on the board of several game studios including Avalanche, Star Stable and Nitro Games. As a fun fact, Mikkel is a four-time Hearthstone legend and reminds our Nordisk Games team almost every day.

Markus’ career in the games industry spans more than 20 years, in which time he has held executive positions in publishing, licensing and operations. Markus joined Nordisk Games at the start of 2021 as Partner & Director of Operations.
